Mine's worth $4840— I think because I answered "yes" to potential chemical exposure. (I work in a photo lab with a digital printer, and the printer does use chemicals, but the chances of me coming in contact with them are very slim, much less so than in a traditional lab.)
Have you heard that a university in Australia is saying that laser printers are bad for your health? Apparently the toner can be disgustingly tiny and could become problematic.
I so dearly would love a high-res full-frame Canon digital that words fail me, and that's saying a lot.
Sorry. You could do what my sister did -- she went and became an office manager for an orthodontist! She and 2/3rds of her daughters got braces (the youngest is too young at this point).
Pretty sly, bwa-ha-haaa. Is your sister close to 60 years old, too? Did she get "the look" that says you're a bit overmature to be hired ~ if indeed she made it as far as an interview? Hahaa. Anyway, I definitely do NOT have an office manager's temperament ~~ or background, or knowledge.
I hope you win a lottery or something and get that camera. What is there on this planet worth taking such expensive pictures...of...?
Speaking of winning something, husband Og's welfare cheat sister & hubby (who have been existing out in the sticks in a beat-up trailer) just won a half million in some Microsoft sweepstakes (they were one of the seven who won). Needless to say, they'll probably piss it away in cars, boats, drugs, etc. They've already found a big house to buy.
Damn. If I had won that, my first concern would actually be to put Stephy through the college of her choice. Then pay off our plethora of debts. Then get all the med/dental crap done that we've neglected for oh these many years. Then get a great lawyer and get myself free, Paul Simon.
Then spend an indeterminate amount of time in Liverpool/London with an Eppy-knowledgeable guide. :)
No, my sister hasn't quite hit 40 yet. She was working for a bank that did its best to drive employees away, then when they left, they were surprised and shocked. Silly bankers.

You didn't really want a stinkin' camera anyway, did ya? ;P
