The anit-hijacking bracelet!
Apr. 20th, 2008 09:59 amA Canadian company has come up with the concept that everyone on an airplane should wear an anit-hijacking bracelet! The bracelet is, in effect, a taser. The concept is that if someone tries to hijack the plane, crew can zap the would-be hijacker into unconsciousness.
Ignoring the fact that the control unit could go berserk and start shocking people, or the hijackers could figure out a way to control the controller or remove their bracelets, or a flight attendant could go nuts and start shocking people.
Yeah. That's one airline I wouldn't want to fly on. Apparently the company is also a hype-machine and are claiming that TSA is reviewing this thing, TSA says they've never heard of it.

Much like Communism, it sounds nice in theory.
