Apparently the reviews have been so bad that Lucas has embargoed the reviews and sent out take-down notices.

Me, personally, I'm kind of ambivalent about the movie. The animation, to me, looks like a computer game. And I'm just not sure that I want to spend $20+ (two tix + junk food) to see it. Maybe I'll wait for it to hit the dollar theaters (which are $2.50).

The animation style has been a big reason why I'm not seeing it, because otherwise, I might be interested in this missing chapter stuff.

Why are they revisiting The Clone Wars, anyway? Was the Emmy-winning cartoon series they originally did back in 2003 not good enough?

I don't know for certain, but apparently they're kicking off a regular series and this is sort of a pilot for it. Unfortunately they did not bring back the talent that did the mini-series and the quality shows.

I think the thing to do is give this one a miss until it hits the dollars and wait for the TV clone wars to come out on DVD.
