And exactly when was "the day"? I don't recall anyone ever being shot for criticizing the military, but my knowledge of history is far from authoritative.

But what I REALLY want to know is: WHEN WILL HIS FIVE MINUTES BE UP?!

I can see fisticuffs happening, but he makes it sound like a bloodbath. Monday night Russet was commenting that she was listening to Fresh Air, and they had reporters complaining that the Obama Administration wasn't as "on track" as the previous administration with everyone in the org spouting the same homogeneous line. I think it is important to think critically, and that was something that was actively discouraged over the last how many years?

It certainly isn't the military's fault if they're sent to do an unpopular job, it's the government's fault for putting them there in the first place. But then layer in: to whom should they listen? It's a no-win situation. If the military does something bad, say, something along the lines of My Lai, then they should be criticized.

Differences of opinions are important so that you don't run lockstep into stupid things, like invading countries that didn't have anything to do with the stated reasons for fighting a war on a concept. Dissent was certainly squashed in the last administration.

15 minutes, according to Warhol. Thought you were being clever by shortening the time, because Mr. "the Plumber" doesn't even have enough to get to fifteen minutes.
