An interesting story. I'm not sure I believe it in all the particulars, but it does paint an excellent narrative of "the best jobs here are criminal ones, so everyone goes to crime".

It was interesting to see the internal structure and the interaction between gangs. I knew some of this from hanging out on the quatloos web site.

Assuming that it's true, it does make for a more organized crime ring than one would think. Any chance of getting the organized crime folks to start sniffing out the gangs?
