You say your name is Mary, and the email address that you want me to send my questions to is of no nationality that I can identify, nor does it bear any relationship to your name or the name of the account the message came from, nor does the address of the account that sent the message anything like any of the names mentioned in the email. At least the initials at the end of the message could correspond to someone named Mary.

I was rather impressed by the correct spelling and that the FBI is outsourcing their IT infrastructure to save money by using a webmail service. At the same time I was expecting the grammar to be a little better as all FBI agents must have college degrees. I also found the fact that they used correct addresses for the FBI, though the address in Egypt looks kind of residential to me. I was also kind of amused by the AOL story link, somehow I don't think the director of the FBI would include extraneous information in an official email like that.


Sadly, the second fraud email was lost. It came from the FedEx Delivery Team! They had bundles of cash just waiting to be delivered to me once I released a few documents to them. Sadly I let it age out of my junk mail folder before posting it.

Still, I hope you get a kick out of the FBI letter.
