Then clearly the good people of the State of California should write in Jack Bauer! Sounds like someone is in need of a reality check. If I saw someone campaigning like this, I'd consider actively campaigning against them: who would Mickey Mouse want as his senator? Who would Dirty Harry want as his senator? Who would La Femme Nikita want as her senator? Who would Mr. Smith want as his senator? Oh, wait -- he was a congresscritter.

Ooooh -- who would Bartles & James want as their senator? Probably Foster Brooks. Or Dean Martin. Or that faux Ernest Hemingway for Dos Equis.

Jack Bauer wouldn't want anyone as his U.S. Senator, because Seantors provide oversight that he doesn't want to have to deal with on his way to saving the world by blowing it up.
