Investigators and prosecutors "have found no evidence of criminal intent".

So I guess 'no criminal intent' will become my standard answer whenever I get pulled over by a cop.

So be it. I hope all those strict interpreters of the law are incensed that a prosecutor used his judgment on this case, instead of going forward with the charges.

Personally, I thought that the act, not the intent, was what drew the charges, but I guess I'm wrong.
