He is now a New York Times Best Selling Author, having published a children's book.

This is a two-page article on Wired, I'm linking directly to page 2, which is the interview. Page 1 is intro and a review of an interactive iPad game version of his book.

I think I must be getting old. I picked up his two most recent CDs last week and listened to his previous album, Straight Outta Lynwood, and I didn't recognize a single song from his polka medley. And I only recognized his Trapped in the Drive Thru because of the Southpark Scientology episode.

I expect similar results when I listen to Alapalooza.

Alapalooza is totally from my era of Weird Al. I know (and love) a lot of his earlier stuff, but that one, Off the Deep End, and Bad Hair Day are the ones that really came out of my own pop culture world. It kinda tapers off after that.
