I think by definition a fetus might be closer to a parasite than an organ, but I don't have the time to dive through dictionaries and Wikipedia right now.

On a totally different note, I spent some time reading about Polydactyly. Wow, the x-rays on Wikipedia are quite interesting. Very glad that my birth defect didn't take that form!

It's only surgery if you deliver by Caesarian. Also, legal abortion doesn't have to be one where you cut a woman open. There could just be a pill to cause a miscarriage. Whomever invents that will be very rich.
