Suck and Major Suck
Jul. 19th, 2006 08:53 pmWell, we're not doing the Colorado Ren Fest this weekend. I went to the doctor yesterday, I've been having some tremendous neck pain and he thinks my neck muscles are inflamed, so I'm going to be doing Flexoril(?) and steroids. I'm going to have a drugged-up weekend in hopes that I'll be recovered before I hit the road for Phoenix and Con Games. We may go back to 'Cruces since Russet is off, theoretically my parents are going to be there.
The major suckage is my laptop is dead. Won't boot, no screen display/POST. Fortunately the warranty people finally called, so we shall see what we shall see. Also fortunately, my older laptop (i.e. the MP3 player) will be easy to bring up to my needs, I just have to install Office, Photoshop, and copy my games down. Probably four hours of work or so.
There is one point of non-suckage: my 100gig drive for my laptop arrived. But since the computer is dead, it ain't gonna do me much good.
*sigh*
