Russet saw a really cool bumper sticker online that said Bush's Third Term: McCain. I guess that's right. Now he's saying that Bush is fully within his rights as a war president to do what he's doing. Funny, I still don't recall Congress passing a declaration of war.

Maybe McCain should do some shopping in China to make a wish list of technology to implement if he gets elected in November.

I try not to wish ill on anyone, I don't need the karma load or rebound. But the airline industry? They've been running inefficient operations for a long time while focusing on horrible customer service. Now fuel costs are rising and they're going to be losing money. Guess what? Capitalism means that successful companies live and that unsuccessful companies die. Except in America, where if the company is big enough, the government will bail them out. The government bailed them out in late 2001, and they didn't learn. Now their operating costs are going through the roof at the same time as people aren't traveling as much.

The article says that airlines are failing at the rate of one a week, I wonder if the Darwinistic effect will help the survivors learn anything.

Having given it 0.0005 seconds of thought: Nah, they won't learn anything as the government continues to bail them out.

Ouch! The PS3 consumes 31kWh of electricity per week while in standby mode, the equivalent of five refrigerators (and x10 the power consumed by the Wii).

Today is our anniversary, 3 years. She likes puzzle games, so I thought it would be a good choice as it seems to be VERY popular.

She finished it in less than 24 hours.

The good news is that she liked it. Unfortunately she exited the game before she completed everything in the village, she was missing one piece from the painting and from one other cumulative puzzle, so she might go back and re-do it all.
