A couple of Watchmen comics
Mar. 3rd, 2009 11:17 amThe second one won't make sense if you haven't read the Hugo Award-winning graphic novel. It's also in the New York Times list of top 100 novels of all time.
I get to be smug because I read the original when it was published as a twelve issue mini-series back in '86/'87, still have 'em in a box.

I've been debating whether or not to re-read the graphic novel collection before seeing the movie this weekend, a co-worker suggested waiting until after. I think that's a good idea. I expect the movie to be incredible, I know they changed the ending, but I'm OK with that. So I think I'll wait.

I, too, am looking forward to seeing the movie. At least the visuals look good. Now just hoping that they didn't fuck up the story or characters.
