Here's the thing that I don't get. From what I understand, Obama is wanting to roll back the tax cuts that Bush put in place over the preceding eight years. Those tax cuts did not significantly affect me and my wife, and at that time we had a combined income of over $100k. So the only people affected by the "tax hike" are those making over $250k, which is a pretty small percentage of the country. If Bush had lowered taxes across the board, that would be one thing. But he didn't.
It's Fox-fueled radicalism, people getting to shout and scream their indignation without thinking.
