With great sorrow and a great sigh, RIP: Sir Terry Pratchett

He passed quietly in his sleep at the age of 66.

He is probably my favorite author, I had the honor and privilege of meeting him at a Discworld convention in Tempe, AZ a few years ago. I also got his autograph on a limited edition copy of Good Omens, now if only I could track down that other fellow who scribbled a few words for it.

While my contact with the Disc is limited, the team that made Good Omens made that book a hoot.

Plus, a character that speaks in smallcaps and that had affection for humans us all right.
